NORAD Santa Tracker live and when Santa Claus will be in Lancashire

Santa Claus is going to break chimneys tonight and use his magic keys on doors across Lancashire – and now you can follow his journey around the world.

There’s only one sleep left until the big day, and many children (and adults) will have trouble sleeping due to the excitement of Santa’s arrival.

The worsening Covid pandemic doesn’t seem to stop Santa Claus from making the 300 million mile itinerary around the globe, just as it didn’t stop him last year.

Before you put your little ones to bed tonight, let them see where he is on his route via the Norad Track Santa app.

Operated by the North American Aerospace Defense Command for over 60 years, the multi-billion dollar satellites and high-tech equipment keep track of Santa and his sleigh full of presents led by Rudolph and his fellow reindeer.

Parents can log in anytime on Christmas Eve around 11:00 GMT and count how many gifts they have delivered so far.

And they are not the only ones – Google, with its eagle eye on the Internet of the world, also has its own Santa Claus tracker so that children know when they need to sleep safely, reports the MEN.

When does Santa arrive in Lancashire?

Traditionally, Santa Claus begins in the Pacific Ocean and travels west.

He visits the South Pacific first, then New Zealand and Australia.

Then he shoots to Japan, over to Asia, over to Africa, then to Western Europe, Canada, USA, Mexico and Central and South America.

We can’t say exactly when he’s flying over Lancashire – only Santa Claus knows the exact route.

However, expect him from his course on December 24th between 9pm and midnight in the UK.

But remember – when you are awake he will leave your house and come back later.
