Prestwich have blown away former championship leaders Clifton to return to the top of the GMCL Premier Division with the title race still wide open.
Sub-professional Sachithra Serasinghe (72) was well supported by Jack Doyle (56) when the home side posted 278-7.
Nathan Bailey’s opening spell did the most damage in the second innings, taking 6-42 when Clifton retired for 68.
Woodbank went to a narrow defeat with a wicket at Flixton.
A final wicket partnership between Stephen Holt and Subtain Raza Shah worth 38 brought Woodbank to a total of 105.
The chase was far from straight forward, and in the end it was again the last couple that proved decisive, with Kamran Basharat ending up at 22 to get Flixton across the line.
On Sunday, Woodbank bounced back in a rearranged game, scooping six points at home against Glodwick.
The visitors were all for 181 batting first, Stephen Holt taking 3–24. Woodbank’s answer was led by pro Imran Mirza, who finished undefeated at 73.
Bury is fourth in Premier 2 after a 32-run win at Heywood.

In Division 2A, third-placed Radcliffe defeated second-placed Worsley with 118 runs.
East Lancs Paper Mill won an away thriller against Elton 2s – and won with a wicket.
Tottington St. Johns easily defended his 125 cc, beating Hindley St. Peters for 55 while Michael Burns won 8-19.
In the 3W division, Unsworth beat Woodbank 2s by just five runs.
Ramsbottom is sixth in the Lancashire League Division One after her 47-run home win against Todmorden, paid man Daryn Smit reached 94 and won 4:27.
Greenmount is third in Division Two after a two-wicket win at Haslingden, Tom Heaton scored 61.
