Ribby Hall spruced up its exercise area in time for folks getting fit with a New Year’s resolution and looking to shed some of the pounds they put on over the holidays.
The equipment was provided by the renowned industry provider Life Fitness International and the revision was guided by customer feedback and suggestions.
The fitness room itself has been expanded with new and additional windows that provide more space, ventilation and views to the gym visitors.

Ribby Hall Village spent £ 270,000 on its gym
The renovation follows improvements earlier this year when Ribby Hall opened its Lifestyle Lounge, which was aimed at encouraging members to get confidential lifestyle consultations, as well as specialist physiotherapy, sports injuries, and sports massages; plus a 4D body mapping scanner that allows individuals to track their progress.
The extended area for core work offers space on the gymnastics area for functional training as well as easy access to the lifestyle lounge of the fitness club.
The new cardio machines include treadmills, cross trainers, arc trainers, heat rower, upright bikes, recumbent bikes, Power Mill stair climbers plus, a Jacobs ladder, assault bikes and Concept 2 Skierg.
Chris Chambers, Manager of the Health Club, said, “We were really excited to have our new fitness equipment installed. All kits meet the highest industry standards with a five-star finish and a premium feel.

“There’s also an HD Athletic Perimeter Rig with two full-size Olympic half-racks and functional workout functionality; a variety of Life Fitness Signature Series rope machines with multiple attachments, plus a full line of Hammer Strength dumbbells and pre-loaded barbells Ideal for quick transitions, drop sets or in combination with our preacher curl bench to isolate your biceps. “
The investment rounds off a busy year at the holiday destination, which has been awarded five stars by Visit England for the fourteenth consecutive year.
